South Africa Klippenkop Chenin Blanc (2008)

A really flavoursome wine full of fresh, crisp fruit.  Reminds you of melons and green apple. Good structure with a lovely freshness.

Italy’s known for its Pinot and this is a beautifully dry, light example to be appreciated for its zesty, citrus character and refreshing quality.

Chile Vistamar Cabernet Sauvignon (2007)

A full-bodied red with upfront dark fruit with a phenomenal, lingering finish.  This is punchy, fuller than the merlot (above) and very smooth.

Australia ‘Tiddy Widdy Well’ Shiraz-Cab-Merlot (2006)

This perennially popular red will have you hooked.  Upfront fruit, concentrated palate and a long ripe finish.  Full of fruit and very soft.

United States  Red Tree Zinfandel (2005)  

A great value zin which opens with a spicey raspberry nose. The taste is pure US West Coast - rich & full bodied with cherry & plum jam flavours.

Argentina Familia Zuccardi Pinot Noir Reserve (2006)

This burgundian style red shows Argentina’s best!  Ripe strawberry fruit overlaid with toasty oak, it is silky smooth with juicy, balanced tannins.

For those who really know their claret, this Haut-Médoc should set your pulses racing.  Pronounced oaky nose and a solid palate with lots of fruit and a very persistent aftertaste.  Excellent claret at a bargain price!

An exemplary champagne, recommended by both Decanter and Wine Spectator magazines during 2007/8.  It has a wonderful expressive nose which is bready and almondy and the palate is clean and fresh.

Very striking pink colour with strings of fine bubbles. It is very light and  distinctive and reminiscent of blackcurrants and fresh fruit.
